Rock platforms are a dynamic and biologically rich environment which link land and sea. We explore: interrelationships of organisms within the rock platform ecosystem; some of the more interesting adaptations of rock platform animals; the abiotic and biotic features of this environment; interactions between the abiotic and biotic environment; lifecycles; the use of transects & quadrants in biological study; the use of a data loggers in biological study; the impact of human activity on this environment.
