Living Histories

Each program in the series features four senior citizens recalling their memories and participation in a major event in Canadian history. Seldom represented in the mass media, these are the people who lived through the Great Depression; who fought in World War 2; who farmed the land, built the cities and who raised their families during the first part of this Century. Their personal stories; their hopes and fears; struggles and successes; loves and losses, and the values that sustained them are waiting to be shared. Careful editing ensures that the viewer is drawn into sharing the unique variety of human experiences and emotions of those who actually link Canada's past and the present through their Living Histories.
