Safe Passage

Knowledge Network teams up with the Cook-Rees Memorial Fund for Water Search and Safety to create Safe Passage, a six-part series on boating safety. The six episodes cover all types of boats and watercraft, from canoes, kayaks, and sailboards to large pleasure craft of twenty meters and more. Safe Passage covers the latest information on safety equipment, safety and emergency procedures, marine charting and communication, navigation, and rights of way. This series also encourages viewers to obtain boating certification, and even lets armchair boating enthusiasts in on the fun.
