NASA walks on the Wild side - literally. This mission to the comet named Wild 2 is a seven year saga designed to scoop up a canister full of comet dust and return it safely to earth. This one-hour special follows the preparations to collect the dust, retrieve the canister and test its contents. The show also investigates the technology used to scoop up comet dust in space. Not just any dust, theses specks are presumed to hold some of the secrets to life here on earth.
