Canamedia Appoints Bill McGowan to VP Global Sales and Acquisitions and Unveils Solid Line-up for MIPTV

established broadcast distribution and production Company, has appointed Bill
McGowan to lead the broadcast distribution and acquisitions team.

Bill will join Andrea Stokes, Manager, International Sales, at MIPTV (booth G3.23) with
a new line-up of series and docs including Hellbound?, Saving The Ocean, Infidelity, and
Robot Warriors.

As a current member of the senior management team of Magic Lantern Media, Bill brings
over 25 years of experience in the distribution business and has led the company’s growth
in new digital markets, on-line delivery and has opened non-theatrical markets for our
producers of quality broadcast content. Understanding the needs of broadcasters and the
many new digital and multi-platform markets for producers, this new role will help
advance Canamedia’s overall reach.
